Three Bastrop High graduates, 15+ years each in this area, who got tired of working jobs where we were just a number. HaulRight is what we built instead.
The three of us met at Bastrop High School. Between us we've got more than 45 years of living in this area — most of our lives, all of the parts that mattered. We know which roads flood, which neighborhoods have the detached garages nobody's opened since the 90s, and how far out you have to go before most companies stop answering the phone.
Before this we all worked jobs where we were a number on a schedule. Clock in, do the work, clock out, and none of it touched the place we actually live. That gets old faster than people admit.
Meanwhile we were already putting hundreds of hours into this community on our own time — setting up car meets downtown, volunteering with Feed the Need, showing up when something needed doing. That part never felt like work. It was the only part that felt like it counted.
So we stopped waiting for a job that let us do both.
HaulRight is named for exactly what it sounds like. Do the right thing. Show up when you said you would, charge what you quoted, and treat the people on the other end like neighbors — because in this town, they usually are.
We didn't come to Bastrop with a franchise playbook and a call center in another state. We grew up here, graduated here, and now we own a business here. Everything we have, this local market gave us. This is how we pay it back.
The community work didn't stop when the business started — it's the reason the business exists. You'll still find us at the car meets downtown and volunteering with Feed the Need. If your organization needs a hand hauling something for a local cause, ask. We'd rather do that than run another ad.

We're based in Bastrop and run roughly a 100-mile radius from here. That covers Bastrop, Cedar Creek, Elgin, Smithville, Paige, Lockhart, La Grange, Giddings, Manor and the east side of Austin.
